Geeky Names

Now a days it's complicated to register a domain name. Most cool domain names are either already taken by some company or blog, or when you access them you get a big or sometimes very small) "buy me" sign. We at Geek Spot took almost a hole month to get a name for our tech site that actualy coud be used as domain. The good news is that it's now ON.

This all name thing got me to wonder about how other big companies got their name. After a few google hits I eventual found something.
You're now probably wondering about "Google" itself, funny story. Actually it started of as joke and was called "googol" wich stands for the cardinal 10^100 due to the engines immense amount of data indexing.

As of Apple, Jobs and Wozniak were 3 months behind to register the name. At the time Jobs threatened naming the company after his favorite fruit if no one had a better name. Apparently no one had.
True story.

My question four you is, what would you call your tech news site?
